And so it begins. This Sunday I take the first step towards completing the NYC Marathon. It will be the first day of training. I plan to walk. Right now, I`m a 215 pound deadweight human being. The first step I need to make is carve off some pounds before I start hitting the payment hard. So walking, walking fast it is. Watching what I`m eating too.
I know exactly what I have to do to prepare for this race. I just have to do it. Sunday will be a big test of getting into action. The internal talk that says, well there`s always tomorrow, has to stop. This is when the proverbial rubber hits the road.
